Volleyball Recap: Aiden Hill Leads a Balanced Effort to Beat Heritage Christian

Roncalli won the last time they faced Heritage Christian and things went their way on Monday too. The Royals were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Eagles.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Roncalli took every set by at least 12 points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-13, 25-6, 25-9.

Roncalli got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Aiden Hill out in front who had seven digs and six aces. Those six aces gave Hill a new career-high.

The win got Roncalli back to even at 1-1. As for Heritage Christian, their defeat dropped their record down to an identical 1-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Roncalli will face off against Indianapolis Bishop Chatard at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The last three games the Trojans have played have been within one set, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. As for Heritage Christian, they will welcome Indianapolis Lutheran at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
