Basketball Recap: Hilton Head Prep Piles Up the Points Against St. John's Christian Academy

On Saturday, the Hilton Head Prep Dolphins blew past the St. John's Christian Academy Cavaliers, posting a 57-25 win. The Dolphins have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven matches by 20 points or more this season.

It was another big night for Courtney Campbell, who dropped a double-double on 33 points and 14 rebounds. The game was her 21st in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Brooke Heins, who posted eight points and three steals.

Hilton Head Prep smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 15 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least nine offensive rebounds in six consecutive contests.

Despite the loss, St. John's Christian Academy still got an impressive performance from Kylie Finley, who had 15 points and seven boards. That was a full 60% of St. John's Christian Academy's points, marking the 11th time in a row she's scored more than a third of the team's points.

Hilton Head Prep is on a roll lately: they've won 11 of their last 13 matches, which provided a massive bump to their 13-8 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 53.3 points per game. As for St. John's Christian Academy, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 7-10.

Hilton Head Prep has already played their next game, a 50-38 victory against Colleton Prep Academy on the 4th. As for St. John's Christian Academy, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 43-41 win against Calhoun Academy on the 3rd.
