Volleyball Recap: Reagan Extends Winning Streak to Seven

Reagan entered their tilt with Clark on Tuesday with six consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with seven. They came out on top against the Cougars by a score of 3-1. This was a revenge game for the Rattlers: when they faced off against the Cougars back in September, they had to take a 3-1 loss.

Reagan had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The final score came out to 25-27, 25-15, 25-20, 25-20.

Bree Velois paced Reagan's offense, picking up 14 kills. Velois got some help from Mackenzie Chastain-Hunter and her 25 assists. Lauren Garcia controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

When it comes to explaining why Clark lost, don't look at Aubree Campos. Despite the final result, she had 11 digs.

Reagan's win bumped their record up to 29-12. As for Clark, their defeat ended a six-match streak of wins at home and dropped them to 23-16.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Reagan is set to challenge their familiar foe Brandeis at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Clark will square off against rival Johnson at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
