The Chamberlain Storm will be playing in front of their home fans against the Jefferson Dragons at 6:30 p.m. Jefferson took a loss in their last game and will be looking to turn the tables on Chamberlain, who comes in off a win.
Chamberlain scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Friday. They walked away with a 39-26 win over Freedom. The win was a breath of fresh air for Chamberlain as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.
Chamberlain's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from K'mari Johnson, who scored 15 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Johnson has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Alyssa Dejesus, who scored 11 points.
Meanwhile, Jefferson's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their tenth straight loss. They fell to Alonso 47-43. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Jefferson in their matchups with Alonso: they've now lost four in a row.
Chamberlain's win ended a 14-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 2-10. As for Jefferson, their loss was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season, which bumped their record down to 2-10.
Things could have been worse for Chamberlain, but things could have been a whole lot better as they took a 33-16 loss to Jefferson when the teams last played back in January of 2023.
