Ouray is headed into Friday's matchup looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their 15th straight game on Tuesday. They had to suffer through a 50-8 loss at the hands of Dove Creek. The Trojans were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 26-4.

Meanwhile, it may have taken overtime to finish the job, but Dolores ultimately got the result they hoped for on Tuesday. They had just enough and edged Monticello out 42-39. The victory was a breath of fresh air for the Bears as it put an end to their four-game losing streak.

Dolores' win came from a few key players Ouray will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Emilynn Hill, who posted seven points and three steals. Hill is crushing it when it comes to steals: she's grabbed at least two every time she's taken the court this season. Another player making a difference was Savannah Stiegelmeyer, who had 11 points.

Ouray's defeat dropped their record down to 0-15. As for Dolores, their win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 6-12.
