After losing to Troy the last time they met, Sidney decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Yellowjackets skirted past the Trojans 3-2.

Sidney was staring down a 2-1 deficit headed into the fourth set, but they rallied to take the next two for the win. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-13, 21-25, 20-25, 25-20, 15-12.

Kalesha Rush paced Sidney's offense, picking up 16 kills. Rush got some help from Alena Swearingen and her 19 assists. Marly Coons controlled things from the service line, finishing with four aces.

Sidney's win bumped their record up to 3-1. As for Troy, their loss dropped their record down to 0-2.

Sidney has already played their next contest, a 3-0 victory against Xenia on the 21st. As for Troy, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-0 defeat against Tippecanoe on the 21st.
