Softball Recap: Pacifica Comes Up Short

After flying high against Santa Barbara on Friday, Pacifica came back down to earth. The Tritons lost 8-1 to the Oxnard Yellowjackets on Monday. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Yellowjackets this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 13-0 back in March.

Pacifica saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Morgan Ranck, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base.

Pacifica's loss dropped their record down to 6-14. As for Oxnard, with the victory, they broke their five-game losing streak and moved their record to 17-9-1.

As of now, neither Pacifica nor the Yellowjackets have any future games scheduled.
