There's no place like home for California City, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Saturday. They blew past the Immanuel Christian Crusaders 11-1 on Tuesday. The high-scoring effort was just what the Ravens needed considering they were shut out in their previous contest.

Nevaeh Ramirez spent all five innings played on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered a run (which was unearned) on three hits and racked up 11 Ks. What's more, she gave up only zero walks, the fewest she's had since back in May of 2024.

On the hitting side, Leah Ibarra was incredible, scoring four runs while going 1-for-3. The team also got some help courtesy of Makayla Haggins, who scored three runs while going 3-for-4.

The win snapped California City's losing streak at five games and leaves them with a 2-5 record. As for Immanuel Christian, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-2.

California City has already played their next match, a 23-3 victory against Rosamond on the 18th. As for Immanuel Christian, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 26-9 win against Desert Christian on the 17th.
