Volleyball Recap: Pacifica Takes a Loss

Pacifica was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 11th straight loss. They fell 2-0 to the Ventura Cougars. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Cougars this season, with their most recent defeat being a 3-0 loss last Thursday.

Pacifica's defeat dropped their record down to 1-11. As for Ventura, the win was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 13-8.

Coming up, Pacifica will square off against Buena at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Ventura, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 victory against Channel Islands on the 18th.
