Preview: Central Rebels vs. Kingston Cougars
The Central Rebels's road trip will continue as they head out to face the Kingston Cougars at 7:00 p.m. on February 9th. One thing working in Central's favor is that they have posted big point totals in their last four matches.
In what's become a running theme this season, Central gave their fans yet another huge win on Monday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Fredericktown 70-38 on the road. With Central ahead 37-14 at the half, the game was all but over already.
Central had a senior duo take command as Jobe Bryant almost dropped a double-double on 20 points and nine assists and Caden Casey scored 22 points along with five rebounds and five steals. Bryant is crushing the point category: he's posted at least 16 every time he's taken the court this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Zack Boyd, who scored 12 points along with two steals.
Meanwhile, Kingston came up short against South Iron on Thursday and fell 50-41. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Kingston has scored all season.
Central's victory bumped their record up to 17-3. As for Kingston, their defeat dropped their record down to 12-4.
