Volleyball Recap: West Lyon Comes Up Short

The home team had won the previous seven meetings between West Lyon and Rock Valley, and Rock Valley kept the tradition alive. The Wildcats fell just short of the Rockets by a score of 3-2 on Thursday. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Rockets this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 2-0 back in August.

West Lyon started the match hot and won the first two sets, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. The match finished with set scores of 21-25, 17-25, 25-18, 25-19, 15-12.

With the loss, West Lyon broke their three-match winning streak and moved their record to 4-11. As for Rock Valley, the victory got them back to even at 6-6.
