It was a good run, but Bradley Central unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-match winning streak on Saturday. They fell just short of the Heritage Mountaineers by a score of 2-1. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Bears of the 2-1 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in August of 2020.

Bradley Central's loss dropped their record down to 22-6. As for Heritage, they have been performing well recently as they've won 14 of their last 17 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-5 record this season.

Bradley Central will head out on the road to square off against Cleveland at 6:15 p.m. on Monday. As for Heritage, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 defeat against Baylor on the 27th.
