Soccer Game Preview: Rancho Bernardo vs. Westview

Rancho Bernardo and Westview are an even 4-4-2 against one another since January of 2020, but likely not for long. The Rancho Bernardo Broncos will be playing at home against the Westview Wolverines at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Rancho Bernardo's last five matchups have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.

Westview will have to contend with a Rancho Bernardo team hungry for a victory, something the squad hasn't seen since January 10. Rancho Bernardo fell just short of Del Norte by a score of 2-1 on Thursday. While losing is never fun, the Broncos can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California soccer rankings (they are ranked 101st, while the Nighthawks are ranked 14th).

Meanwhile, Westview beat Mission Hills 3-1 on Thursday.

Westview hit Mission Hills with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Ariyan Sharifi, Laith Khoury, and Jayden Williams.

Westview now has a winning record of 6-5-4. As for Rancho Bernardo, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-4-3.
