Oxford Academy had to skate by with only a one-set margin when they last took the court, which might have inspired the three-set drubbing they dealt Pioneer on Tuesday. The Patriots put the hurt on the Titans with a sharp 3-0 victory. The Patriots have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Titans, too.

The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Oxford Academy was: they took every set by at least 25 points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-0, 25-0, 25-0.

Oxford Academy's win bumped their record up to 12-3. As for Pioneer, they dropped their record down to 3-11 with the defeat, which was their 15th straight on the road dating back to last season.
