Putnam has gone a perfect 10-0 against Parkrose recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Kingsmen will welcome the Broncos at 4:30 p.m. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Putnam has three straight wins, Parkrose has 44 straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the field.

If Putnam beats Parkrose with 13 runs on Friday, it's going to be the team's new lucky number: they've won their past two matchups with that exact score. The Kingsmen walked away with a 13-8 victory over Centennial on Wednesday.

Meanwhile, Parkrose fought the good fight in their extra-innings game against Milwaukie/Milwaukie Academy of the Arts on Wednesday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of the Mustangs by a score of 10-9. That's two games in a row now that the Broncos have lost by just one run.

Parkrose's defeat dropped their record down to 0-22. As for Putnam, their win bumped their record up to 7-13.

Everything went Putnam's way against Parkrose when the teams last played back in May of 2024, as Putnam made off with an 11-1 victory. Do the Kingsmen have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Broncos turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
