Melvindale is 7-2 against Romulus since May of 2021 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Cardinals will host the Eagles at 4:00 p.m. The timing is sure in Melvindale's favor as the squad sits on three straight wins at home while Romulus has been banged up by four consecutive losses on the road dating back to last season.

If Melvindale beats Romulus with 12 runs on Tuesday, it's going to be the team's new lucky number: they've won their past two contests with that exact score. The Cardinals never let Thurston get on the board and left with a 12-0 win on Monday. Considering the Cardinals have won five matchups by more than six runs this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.

Meanwhile, after only one run in their last game, Romulus made sure to put some runs up on the board against Robichaud on Monday. The Eagles had just enough and edged out the Bulldogs 15-14. The Eagles' hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.

Romulus' first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-3. As for Melvindale, their win bumped their record up to 6-2.
