Softball Recap: Princeton Snaps Eight-Game Streak of Losses on the Road

It's playoff time, and Princeton had no trouble coming through when it counted. They put the hurt on the Walnut Hills Eagles with a sharp 10-1 victory on Wednesday. This was a revenge game for the Vikings: when they faced off against the Eagles back in April, they had to take a 10-5 loss.

Princeton's win ended an eight-game drought on the road and puts them at 3-14. As for Walnut Hills, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost eight of their last ten games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-12 record this season.

Princeton will challenge Fairfield at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. Walnut Hills does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
