Cornerstone Charter Academy hadn't done well against Colonial recently (they were 0-7 in their previous seven matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Tuesday. The Ducks were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Grenadiers. The Ducks not only won on Tuesday, but they posted their biggest win since August 26th (when they won 3-0).

While Cornerstone Charter Academy won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the second set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-16, 27-25, 25-15.

Heaven Preni paced Cornerstone Charter Academy's offense, picking up 16 kills. Preni got some help from Kenzie Boisvert and her 29 assists. Boisvert was also solid from the service line: she led the team with six aces.
