Baseball Recap: Oshkosh North Comes Up Short

For some reason, the away team has come away with the win the last four times Oshkosh North and Neenah have met, but the home crowd finally got their W on Tuesday. The Spartans lost 6-0 to the Rockets. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Rockets this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 12-1 back in April.

Oshkosh North's loss was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 6-11. As for Neenah, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 6-7 record this season.

Oshkosh North didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, an 11-1 defeat against Appleton East on the 15th. As for Neenah, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, a 1-1 draw against Appleton West on the 16th.
