Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Kecoughtan walked away with it. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 4-3 victory over the Granby Comets on Thursday. Winning may never get old, but the Warriors sure are getting used to it with their 17th in a row.

Kecoughtan's win was their ninth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 20-3. Those home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 0.8 runs on average over those games. As for Granby, their defeat ended a five-game streak of away wins and brought them to 19-5.

Kecoughtan and Granby are set to take part in some playoff action in their next matches. The Warriors will host Great Bridge on Tuesday. The last three games the Wildcats have played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. As for Granby, they will head out to square off against Kellam on Tuesday. The Knights will roll in looking for their 15th straight win, something the Comets surely won't give up without a fight.
