Softball Recap: Viborg/Hurley Comes Up Short

Viborg/Hurley lost against Scotland/Menno back in April, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Cougars took an 8-4 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Trappers.

Viborg/Hurley dropped their record down to 6-12 with the defeat, which was their fourth straight on the road. As for Scotland/Menno, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-5 record this season.

Viborg/Hurley didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 15-3 victory against Howard on the 23rd. As for Scotland/Menno, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, a 15-10 loss against Elk Point-Jefferson on the 23rd.
