Jackson County extended their winning streak to three on Tuesday, bumping them up to 14-3. Everything went their way against the Clarkrange Buffaloes as they made off with a 60-40 victory. The Blue Devils have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won ten matchups by 20 points or more this season.

As for Clarkrange, their loss ended a five-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 11-7. While losing is never fun, they can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Tennessee basketball rankings (they are ranked 232nd, while Jackson County is ranked 71st).

When it comes to explaining why Clarkrange lost, don't look at Bryton Swallows. Despite the final result, he shot 69% from the field en route to 23 points. Swallows continues to improve, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played. Mason McWhirter was another key player, putting up six points and nine rebounds.

Jackson County wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 76-35 win against Red Boiling Springs on the 9th. As for Clarkrange, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 61-32 defeat against Pickett County on the 9th.
