Soccer Recap: Hillsboro Comes Up Short

Hillsboro was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss. They lost 8-0 to the Waco Lions. That's two games in a row now that the Eagles have lost by exactly eight goals.

Hillsboro's defeat dropped their record down to 0-7. As for Waco, their win bumped their record up to 5-7-1.

Hillsboro will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Salado at 5:15 p.m. on February 4th. As for Waco, they will take on University at 7:15 p.m. on January 31st.
