It was a good run, but Knoxville Christian unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-match winning streak on Friday. They fell 2-0 to Varsity Opponent. The Knights were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced Varsity Opponent earlier this season, when they won 2-0.

The final score came out to 25-15, 25-14.

Savanah Dunham paced Knoxville Christian's offense, picking up five kills. Dunham were helped by Emily Dunham and Lily Warren, who contributed five assists each. Chloe Hammann controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Knoxville Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 9-6.

Knoxville Christian wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 victory against Foundation Christian Academy on the 27th. As for Varsity Opponent, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-0 loss against Tyler HEAT on the 26th.
