Basketball Game Preview: Gaffney Indians vs. Boiling Springs Bulldogs

The Gaffney Indians will head out on the road to challenge the Boiling Springs Bulldogs at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Gaffney is coming into the matchup on a five-game losing streak.

Last Friday, Gaffney ended up a good deal behind Riverside and lost 55-36. The game marked the Indians' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Meanwhile, Boiling Springs lost to James F. Byrnes at home by a 59-43 margin on Friday. While losing is never fun, the Bulldogs can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' South Carolina basketball rankings (they are ranked 32nd, while the Rebels are ranked first).

Gaffney's defeat dropped their record down to 4-12. As for Boiling Springs, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 10-6.

Gaffney beat Boiling Springs 57-45 in their previous matchup back in February of 2024. Will Gaffney repeat their success, or does Boiling Springs have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
