Basketball Recap: Caverna Takes a Loss

Caverna was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 19th straight defeat. They took a hard 51-36 fall against the Portland Christian Eagles. The Colonels were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Eagles earlier this season, when they won 52-36.

Caverna's loss dropped their record down to 3-20. As for Portland Christian, the win got them back to even at 8-8.

Caverna won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Larue County at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Portland Christian, they also won't have to wait long for more action: they'll square off against Riverside at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
