Basketball Recap: Houghton Lake Takes a Loss

Houghton Lake lost against Beal City back in January, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Houghton Lake Bobcats lost 52-30 to the Beal City Aggies.

Houghton Lake has also been struggling recently as they've lost nine of their last 12 matches, which has put a noticeable dent in their 5-14 record this season. As for Beal City, the win got them back to even at 10-10.

Coming up, a feisty cat fight will be fought as the Bobcats duke it out with the Wildcats at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Evart will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something Houghton Lake surely won't give up without a fight. As for Beal City, they will square off against Pine River Area at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
