Soccer Game Preview: Stoughton vs. Walpole

The Stoughton Black Knights will face off against the Walpole Timberwolves at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Neither squad made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

Tuesday just wasn't the day for Stoughton's offense. They lost 3-0 to Franklin on Tuesday.

Meanwhile, Walpole was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They were a single goal away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of Braintree.

Walpole's loss dropped their record down to 1-8. As for Stoughton, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-3-2.

Everything went Stoughton's way against Walpole in their previous matchup last Tuesday, as Stoughton made off with a 7-3 win. Do the Black Knights have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Timberwolves turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
