Baseball Recap: Shenandoah Find Success

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Marietta, Shenandoah was happy to have turned things around on Monday. They came out on top against the Waterford Wildcats by a score of 6-3. This was a revenge game for the Zeps: when they faced off against the Wildcats back in April, they had to take a 8-7 loss.

The team relied heavily on Brody Brown, who went 3-for-4 with two RBI and one double. Those two RBI gave him a new career-high.

Shenandoah's win bumped their record up to 3-17. As for Waterford, their defeat dropped their record down to 12-8.

Coming up, Shenandoah will host Fort Frye at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Cadets' pitching crew has only allowed 3.1 runs per game this season, so the Zeps' hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Waterford, they will face off against Frontier at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
