Basketball Recap: Coco Stamps Leads a Balanced Attack to Beat Georgiana

It's playoff time, and Brantley had no trouble coming through when it counted. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past the Georgiana Panthers 63-61. This was a revenge game for the Bulldogs: when they faced off against the Panthers last Saturday, they had to take a 62-59 loss.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Brantley to victory, but perhaps none more so than CoCo Stamps, who posted 13 points along with seven rebounds and six steals. Stamps has been hot for a while, having posted two or more steals the last 37 times she's played. Myia Mount was another key player, dropping a double-double on ten points and 17 boards.

Brantley smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with ten offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least eight offensive boards in 22 consecutive matchups.

Brantley's record is now 12-10. As for Georgiana, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 13-11.

As of now, neither Brantley nor Georgiana have any future games scheduled.
