Two dominant backs in Jamir Jackson and Devaunh White are getting ready to go toe-to-toe. The Monroe Redhawks will square off against the West Rowan Falcons at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Monroe comes in on five and West Rowan on three.

Monroe's defense heads into the contest hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed two weeks ago. Everything went their way against Forest Hills as they made off with a 21-0 victory. The Redhawks might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won four matchups by 21 points or more this season.

A big part of Monroe's win came down to the chemistry between Brayden Graceffa and his top target Bryson Simpkins. Graceffa threw for 164 yards on eight of 17 attempts while Simpkins picked up 127 receiving yards and one TD. Those 127 receiving yards gave Simpkins a new career-high.

Monroe's defense made their presence known, laying out the QB three times. Carlos Flores was particularly dangerous to the passing game, picking up two sacks himself.

Meanwhile, with a playoff win on the line, West Rowan rose to the challenge on Friday. They strolled past the Storm with points to spare, taking the game 41-23. The Falcons' offense checked out after the first half but had enough points banked to take the game anyway.

Monroe better keep an eye on Brant Graham. He was instrumental in West Rowan's win, throwing for 266 yards and four touchdowns while picking up 13.3 yards per attempt. Cooper Martin helped Graham out on the ground, rushing for 67 yards and a pair of scores on only nine carries.
