Basketball Recap: Friday's Win Is Lebanon's 12th in Last 15 Outings

Lebanon had won two straight road games and Kaden Lark did his part to make it three on Friday. The Lebanon Tigers snuck past the Marion Giants with a 60-56 win thanks to Lark, who went 10-for-16 en route to 29 points along with seven rebounds and five assists. That's the most points he has posted since back in February of 2024.

Another player making a difference was Colin Fouts, who scored eight points and six boards. He is also on a roll when it comes to shooting accuracy, as he's posted one of at least 50% in the last five games he's played.

Several Giants players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Jadion Smith, who went 5-for-10 on his way to 13 points and five steals. Smith continues to improve, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played. Tim Jones was another key player, going 5-for-7 to rack up 15 points and three steals.

Lebanon has been performing well recently as they've won 12 of their last 15 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-6 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 57.5 points over those games. Marion has been struggling recently as they've lost nine of their last 12 matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 9-10 record this season.

Lebanon has already played their next contest, a 70-60 victory against West Lafayette on the 22nd. As for Marion, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 77-62 win against Indianapolis Washington on the 22nd.
