Baseball Recap: Foley Lions vs. Baldwin County Tigers
After flying high against Citronelle on Saturday, Foley came back down to earth. The Lions fell just short of the Baldwin County Tigers by a score of 3-2 on Saturday. The Lions were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Tigers apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in February of 2025.
Jackson Kelly was a force to be reckoned with on the mound despite the final result: he pitched 5.2 innings while giving up just two earned (and one unearned) runs off six hits. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up a single walk in three consecutive appearances.
At the plate, Foley saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Lukus Bryant, who went 1-for-2 with one run.
