Basketball Preview: Sandusky Blue Streaks vs. Bellevue Redmen
Sandusky is 0-10 against the Redmen since January of 2019 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Thursday. The Sandusky Blue Streaks will be playing in front of their home fans against the Bellevue Redmen at 7:30 p.m. Sandusky will be looking to keep their seven-game home win streak alive.
Last Saturday, Sandusky strolled past the Fliers with points to spare, taking the game 69-52.
Bellevue aren't just finding sucess at home, as their game on Saturday extended their overall winning streak to eight. They took down Perkins 55-38. Given Bellevue's advantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 62nd, while the Pirates are ranked 215th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Sandusky's win bumped their record up to 9-10. As for Bellevue, they are on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last ten matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 14-5 record this season.
