Basehor-Linwood lost against Maize South back in September and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Bobcats fell 2-0 to the Mavericks. The Bobcats' loss signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Basehor-Linwood now has a losing record of 13-14. As for Maize South, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 20 of their last 22 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 27-3 record this season.

Basehor-Linwood and Maize South should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps Kansas Rankings. The Bobcats will square off against Leavenworth on Tuesday with a big rank advantage (93 vs. 221). Meanwhile, Maize South (ranked fourth) will meet Maize (ranked 91st) at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
