Wylie had already won six in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 12.2 runs) and they went ahead and made it seven on Friday. They were the clear victors by a 21-1 margin over the North Garland Raiders. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 22-1 back in February.

Wylie pushed their record up to 12-6 with the victory, which was their sixth straight on the road. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 14.8 runs over those games. As for North Garland, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost 11 of their last 12 matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-18 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Wylie will take on rival Sachse at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday. Meanwhile, North Garland is set to square off against their familiar foe Lakeview Centennial at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday.
