Baseball Recap: Houston Math Science & Tech Takes a Loss

Houston Math Science & Tech was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They fell 9-4 to the Lamar Texans. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Texans this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 10-0 on Tuesday.

Houston Math Science & Tech saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jaden Gonzalez, who went 1-for-3 with two runs. Gonzalez has become a key player for the Tigers: the team is 5-1 when he posts at least two runs, but 5-8 otherwise.

Houston Math Science & Tech's defeat dropped their record down to 10-9. As for Lamar, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 13 of their last 15 matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 16-9-1 record this season.

As of now, neither Houston Math Science & Tech nor Lamar have any future games scheduled.
