Volleyball Recap: Beloit Memorial Takes a Loss

Beloit Memorial was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 13th straight defeat dating back to last season. They came up short against the Badger Badgers, falling 3-0. If the Purple Knights were looking for revenge after losing 3-0 to the Badgers when the teams met back in September of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Badger can attribute much of their success to Teagan Clausen, who had four digs and four aces. Those four aces gave Clausen a new career-high. Jillian Denecke also deserves some recognition as she had her first digs of the season.

Beloit Memorial's loss dropped their record down to 0-12. As for Badger, their record is now 12-7.

Beloit Memorial has already played their next match, a 3-0 defeat against Westosha Central on the 30th. As for Badger, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 2-1 win against Kenosha Bradford on the 27th.
