Volleyball Recap: Notus Comes Up Short

Notus came into their game on Thursday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They lost 3-0 to the Liberty Charter Patriots. The Pirates haven't had much luck with the Patriots recently, as the team has come up short the last nine times they've met.

The match finished with set scores of 25-17, 25-18, 25-14.

Lauren Nelson paced Notus' offense, picking up three kills. Nelson got some help from Kendall Woodland and her six assists.

Notus' loss dropped their record down to 4-15. As for Liberty Charter, they have been performing well recently as they've won ten of their last 13 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-12 record this season.

As of now, neither Notus nor Liberty Charter have any future games scheduled.
