Columbus Catholic won the last time they faced Greenwood and things went their way on Thursday too. The Dons put the hurt on the Indians with a sharp 17-11 win. The result was nothing new for the Dons, who have now won seven games by six runs or more so far this season.

Columbus Catholic's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 9-10. Those home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 16.3 runs over those games. As for Greenwood, they are on a 31-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-15.

Looking ahead, Columbus Catholic is taking a road trip to square off against Marathon at 4:45 p.m. on Monday. Greenwood does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
