Softball Recap: Durango Takes a Loss

Durango lost against Cimarron-Memorial back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Durango Trailblazers came up short against the Cimarron-Memorial Spartans, falling 22-7.

Durango saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Seven Morrison, who scored a run while going 1-for-2.

Durango's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Cimarron-Memorial, the victory got them back to even at 2-2.

The future could be bright for both Durango and Cimarron-Memorial: their next opponents haven't had the best luck recently. Durango will try to hand Mojave their fourth-straight loss when the two meet at 3:30 p.m. on Friday. Similarly, Cimarron-Memorial will look to extend Desert Pines' three-game losing streak when they meet at 3:30 p.m. on March 24th.
