Softball Recap: Lafayette Generals vs. Male Bulldogs
Lafayette was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They fell 7-3 to the Male Bulldogs. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest runs Lafayette has scored all season.
Jenna Wells made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and scored two runs and stole a base while getting on base in three of her four plate appearances. Another player making a difference was Brynna Harris, who went 2-for-2 with two doubles and an RBI.
On Male's side, Hannah Wright tossed a big game, striking out seven batters over seven innings while giving up just two earned (and one unearned) runs off three hits. Wright has been consistent recently: she hasn't tossed less than seven strikeouts every time she's pitched this season.
