Soccer Game Preview: Franklin-Simpson vs. Glasgow

The Franklin-Simpson Wildcats will be defending their home pitch for the first time this season when they go up against the Glasgow Scotties at 8:00 a.m. on Saturday. Franklin-Simpson has been dominant on offense recently, having racked up an incredible 20 goals over their last three contests.

Franklin-Simpson barely beat Hart County the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Wildcats blew past the Raiders 6-1 on Thursday. Franklin-Simpson haven't had any issues with Hart County recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive victory against them.

Meanwhile, Glasgow fell victim to Ohio County and their airtight defense on Thursday. They came up short against the Eagles, falling 8-0.

Glasgow's defeat dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Franklin-Simpson, their win bumped their record up to 3-0.

Everything went Franklin-Simpson's way against Glasgow in their previous matchup back in October of 2024, as Franklin-Simpson made off with a 5-2 victory. Will the Wildcats repeat their success, or do the Scotties have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
