After a string of eight wins, Indio's good fortune finally ran out on Monday. They fell just short of the Coachella Valley Mighty Arabs by a score of 2-1. The Rajahs were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Mighty Arabs earlier this season, when they won 5-4.

Indio's loss was their first in the league, dropping their league record down to 8-1 and their overall record down to 14-12. As for Coachella Valley, the win (which was their seventh in a row) raised their record to 11-8.

Indio has already played their next match, a 3-2 defeat against Silverado on the 15th. As for Coachella Valley, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, a 4-3 loss against Channel Islands on the 15th.
