Episcopal won the last time they faced St. Albans and things went their way on Friday too. The Episcopal Maroon walked away with a 78-67 victory over the St. Albans Bulldogs.

When it comes to explaining why St. Albans lost, don't look at Grant Polk. Despite the final result, he went 8-for-19 en route to 26 points along with eight rebounds and five assists. Polk is on a roll when it comes to boards, as he's now pulled down eight or more in each of the last six games he's played. Another player making a difference was Jaylen Wills, who posted 20 points.

Episcopal's win bumped their record up to 12-9. As for St. Albans, they dropped their record down to 9-14 with the defeat, which was their fifth straight at home.

Coming up, Episcopal will face off against Landon at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for St. Albans, they and Bullis will face off at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday without much rest, having both just played. One thing working in Bullis' favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last eight games.
