Tuesday just wasn't the day for Sunrise Mountain's offense. They fell 7-0 to the Verrado Vipers on Tuesday. The Mustangs' defeat signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Sunrise Mountain didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. In fact, those interceptions all came courtesy of defensive juggernaut Kaylee Pruetz.

Sunrise Mountain's loss dropped their record down to 6-8. As for Verrado, they pushed their record up to 9-2-1 with the win, which was their 11th straight on the road dating back to last season.

Sunrise Mountain wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next matchup, a 44-0 victory against Paradise Valley on the 6th. As for Verrado, they have also already played their next game, a 33-0 win against Notre Dame Prep on the 6th.
