Volleyball Recap: San Marin Takes a Loss + How To Watch

If San Marin was riding high fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Novato on Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Mustangs fell just short of the San Rafael Bulldogs by a score of 3-2 on Tuesday. The Mustangs were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Bulldogs apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in September of 2024.

San Marin took a 2-1 lead headed into the fourth set, but sadly they lost the next two. The final score came out to 25-22, 23-25, 17-25, 25-18, 15-8.

San Marin's loss dropped their record down to 3-8. As for San Rafael, the win (which was their ninth in a row) raised their record to 15-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. San Marin will challenge Terra Linda at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for San Rafael, they will take on Tennyson at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The Bulldogs are facing the Lancers at the right time seeing as the Lancers are stuck on a four-game losing streak.
