Softball Preview: Evansville North Huskies vs. Evansville Central Bears

Evansville North has gone 8-2 against Evansville Central recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Huskies will take on the Bears at 5:00 p.m. Both come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

On Wednesday, Evansville North needed a bit of extra time to put away Mt. Carmel. They skirted past the Golden Aces 7-6. The win was a breath of fresh air for the Huskies as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.

Adalyn Dierlam was a standout: she went 3-for-4 with one home run and two RBI. Those three hits gave her a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Ripley Anderson, who went 3-for-5 with three RBI, one run, and one double.
