The International Community Comets's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Thursday after their seventh straight loss. They took a 69-62 hit to the loss column at the hands of North Kissimmee Christian. Having run the score up that high, both teams probably have some extra defensive drills coming up.

International Community lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Paxton Boaz, who scored 17 points along with five assists and two steals. Gavin Philips was another key contributor, scoring 16 points along with five rebounds.

International Community has traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost nine of their last 11 contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-13 record this season. As for North Kissimmee Christian, the win was the eighth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 19-4.
