Baseball Game Preview: Olympia Titans vs. Charles Page Sandites

The Olympia Titans will be taking part in a tournament against the Charles Page Sandites at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Olympia is coming into the match hot, having won their last six games.

Olympia saw some tournament action on Monday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against Broken Arrow, sneaking past 8-7. That's two games straight that the Titans have won by just one run.

Socrates Martinez looked comfortable as he pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in strikeouts (three).

On the hitting side, Mac Colavecchio was incredible, scoring two runs while going 3-for-3. Those three hits gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Matt Logan, who went 2-for-4 with three RBI.

Meanwhile, Charles Page didn't have quite enough to beat Tate on Monday and fell 5-4. The Sandites have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Olympia's victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 7-6. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 7.0 runs over those games. As for Charles Page, they now have a losing record of 4-5.
